WELCOME TO THE GREEN PARTY.

Any person can join the Green Party or participate in its activies. This includes registered Green voters, voters who are considering becoming a registered Green voter, registered independent voters, members of other political parties , citizens who are not registered to vote, and those persons who live, work, or who are students residing in the state but cannot register to vote as noncitizens.

There are many ways to become involved in the Green Party. One is to register as a Green when voting in a primary election. Being a Green Party voter allows a person to vote in the Green primary for candidates, to run as a Green candidate in the primary, and take part in voting on organizational matters.

A person can become involved in Green Party activities while waiting to register as a Green party voter in the next primary. Also, a person can become involved in Green Party activities without registering as a Green voter. These activities can include areas such as issue advocacy or cooperation among various groups regarding elections, communication, voter registration, and ballot access.
